Due to the unique self-regulating properties of SmartChlor Technology, FROG® @ease® products have their own test strip that helps maintain water balance and reminds you when to replace your SmartChlor Cartridge.

• Because SmartChlor maintains a consistent 0.5 to 1.0 ppm free chlorine level (as long as the water is balanced) there is no need to regularly test for it.
• It is easier to determine whether the strip color is lighter or darker than match the color exactly as standard strips do.
• The clearly marked ideal ranges for water balance make it easier to get your Total Alkalinity, pH and Hardness in line.

How It Works

In 2 seconds, you can know precisely whether your pH, Total Alkalinity and Calcium Hardness are balanced, plus whether SmartChlor needs replacing. Simply dip the FROG® @ease® Test Strip into the water, remove with the pads facing up and shake once to remove the water on the FROG® Test Strips. Then put it up to the color chart on the bottle and compare.

If the SmartChlor color on the strip is darker than the bottle label, the water is fine. If it is lighter it's time to replace the Smartchlor Cartridge.
